1. Summary

This privacy policy explains what information TransientX and all of its subsidiaries worldwide referred to as “TransientX,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) gather about individuals who provide us with personal information. This privacy policy does not apply to the TransientX partners and affiliates, which may have separate privacy. This privacy policy does not extend to any information that is beyond the control of TransientX. This privacy policy outlines what we use that information for and who we give that information to. It also sets out your privacy rights in relation to your own personal information, and it tells you who to contact for more information about this policy. By using the Services and site, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, and agree to TransientX’s Terms of Use, which are incorporated by reference. Although you do not have to provide any of your personal information to us, if we ask you to do so and you refuse, we may be unable to provide you with the information, goods, or services you want from us.

2. Scope

This privacy policy describes how we handle the personal information we collect and process through TransientX. It is our policy to collect only the minimum information required from you. If you believe that we have gone beyond that, please contact us to raise any concerns you may have. A list of contact methods is provided at the bottom of this privacy policy. There are several ways we may obtain information about you, including through information you provide to us directly; information that we automatically collect; and information we receive from third parties. This includes data that identifies you personally whether directly (i.e. your name) or indirectly (i.e. information about your online use).

2.1 Personal Information

Personal information is collected from you when you choose to share it, such as when you are prompted for information when you subscribe to the Services, use a TransientX website, download a product, sign up for email, or request further information. The information we collect may include your name, address, email address, telephone or mobile number, IP address, and – if you’re making a purchase – payment information.

We do not intend to collect special category (also known as sensitive) personal information through our website(s) (unless we are legally required to do so). Examples of special category information are: race or ethnic origin; political opinions; religious or philosophical beliefs; trade union membership; physical or mental health; genetic data; biometric data; sexual life or sexual orientation; and criminal records.

We ask that you do not provide us with special category personal information when using TransientX.

As you use TransientX, you may link to third-party sites not controlled by us and which do not operate under our privacy practices. When you link to third-party sites, our privacy practices no longer apply. We encourage you to review each third-party site’s privacy policy before disclosing any personally identifiable information.

2.2. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on a computer’s hard disk containing information about the owner. With respect to your use of an Internet browser to interact with TransientX you should be aware that like many businesses with websites and cloud services, we may also use “cookies” to collect information. You can control our use of cookies with respect to your device by changing options in the Internet browser you use. We will display notices to you about cookies and prompt you to accept or reject a cookie from us. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all portions or features of TransientX.

Cookies may be collected automatically or passively. Our partners may use cookies. TransientX does not exercise any access or control of such cookies.

We may automatically collect your IP address, which can be collected as part of web server logs , or other unique identifier or information from the computer, mobile device, tablet or other device you use to access the Services, including the browser type, device type, operating system, software and software version, hardware model, mobile network information, and the domain name from which you accessed the Services. We also may collect information about your use of the Site, including the date and time you visit the Services, the areas or pages of the Services that you visit, the amount of time you spend viewing or using the Services, the number of times you return to the Services, other click-stream or site usage data, emails that you open, forward or click-through to our Services, and other sites that you may visit The data may be used to help diagnose problems with our servers, analyze trends, track users’ web page, email and mobile application movements/activities, help identify or gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

2.3. Services, Product Downloads and Access

Enrolling in TransientX’s subscription service may require you to provide certain personal information and enter into a Subscriber Agreement. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to modify the terms in the Subscriber Agreement. Downloading or accessing a product will often require you to provide personal information. With your consent, this information will be used by TransientX or its affiliates to contact the customer about TransientX’s products and services, including product updates and associated promotional material. This information may also be used as collated general demographic information to improve TransientX’s products and services.

If you make a purchase from us, we store an anonymized token and information (such as the last four digits and expiration date of a credit card, and billing address), or other payment information (such as via PayPal or Apple Pay), depending on the form of payment you choose.

2.4. Location

We collect general information about where traffic and purchases on our Services are coming from around the world. This is used at an aggregate level (that does not identify individual users) to create reports to better understand our engagement with users.

2.5. Information from Third Parties

We may also receive personal information from third parties. In the event that third party features and functionalities are incorporated in or made available in or through TransientX products, then the policies of those third parties apply. 3. User Rights

We respect your privacy rights and provide you with reasonable access and rights to the personal data that you may have provided through your use of the Services. You may update, correct, or delete your account information and preferences at any time by accessing your Account settings page on the Service. Please note that while any changes you make will be reflected in active user databases instantly or within a reasonable period of time, we may retain all information you submit for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, satisfaction of legal obligations, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so.

You may decline to share certain personal information with us, in which case we may not be able to provide to you some of the features and functionality of the Services.

4. Automated decision making

We will not use your personal information for automated decision making or profiling.

5. Children

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy and we never knowingly collect personal information about individuals under the age of 16. We adhere to laws regarding marketing to children. If you are under 16 years of age, we ask that you do not use TransientX.

If your account remains inactive for 6 months, we will deactivate it. Unless you ask us to reactive it, after another 6 months following deactivation, we will delete your account.

8. Security of personal information

Taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation, and the nature, scope, context, and purposes of processing your personal information, we have implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk of unauthorized or unlawful processing of personal data. These measures also help us guard against accidental loss, destruction of, or damage to personal data.

Only authorized persons are provided access to the personally identifiable information we have collected, and such individuals have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of this information.

We safeguard the security of the personal information provided to us with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. Inside TransientX, data is stored in secure and controlled servers with limited access.

Where we share your personal information with third-party providers, they may use subcontractors that have access to your personal data (sub-processors). It is our policy to use only third-party providers that are bound to maintain appropriate levels of security and confidentiality, to process personal information only as instructed by us, and to flow those same obligations down to their sub-processors.

Note that your information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country where TransientX, its subsidiaries, or service providers are located. While we strive to protect personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of the personal information provided to us. Although we use appropriate security measures, once we have received your personal information, the transmission of data over the Internet (including via email) is never completely secure. We urge you to protect your personal information when using the Internet by, for example, changing passwords often, using a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters (for example, % and $ and +) , and making sure to use a secure browser.

9. Data retention

If you create a User Account to use services associated with TransientX, we will retain your personal information while the User Account you’ve created remains active. We will also retain your information for as long as we have a legitimate business purpose to do so, and thereafter, for no longer than is required or permitted by law. This includes data you or others have provided to us, as well as data generated or inferred from your use of TransientX.

10. TransientX privacy policy updates

Our privacy policy may be updated from time to time, and we will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy at TransientX privacy policy and revising the “Effective starting” date at the top of the policy.
